Psilly saves and just last one
Brought me back to the hunt
Smell of sense turns my head
Teeth of truth surely said
“I love you”
above it
all, and beneath it lies
carnage of failed flights
broken bones of those who sank like stones
in a sky full of laughter
whom ought to reconsider
whos next to slaughter
while a perfect me, holds their daughter
in harmony

but nevermind failed tries
hope and future shows luck on our side
by side we stand
against the world
we hold hands
a grip of love
chokes my fear
obliterating all but my dear,
sweet wife to be
with who, I will be free

still we sit in this fix
able of little, next to nixed

when the world shuts its door
and pulls the curtains tight
when the sky slips over
to the mysterious night
when the womb is empty
she is tight
celebrating our passion for life
it feels so right!
